What services does Nüd Spa offer?
Nüd Spa in North Phoenix offers custom airbrush spray tans, waxing and hair removal for women and men, full-body exfoliating scrubs, and PCA Skin enzyme facials with optional dermaplaning. Sauna and red light therapy are available as add-ons.
How much does a spray tan cost at Nüd?
A custom spray tan is $40 and a rapid spray tan is $50. Both are applied by hand by a technician and take about 30 minutes.
How long does a spray tan last?
A spray tan typically lasts 5 to 7 days. To make it last longer, exfoliate before your appointment, moisturize daily afterward, use a gentle body wash and pat your skin dry instead of rubbing.
Will a spray tan make me look orange?
No. Modern tanning solutions are formulated for a natural brown tone, and we match the solution and depth of color to your skin tone, so you leave looking sun-kissed and not orange.
How do I prepare for a spray tan?
Shave and exfoliate the day before. On the day, arrive with clean skin and no lotion, oil, deodorant or makeup, and bring loose, dark clothing to wear home. Waxing should be done at least 24 hours before your tan.
When can I shower after a spray tan?
With a standard spray tan, wait 8 to 12 hours before showering or swimming so the color can fully develop. A rapid tan can be rinsed sooner, and your technician will give you your exact rinse time.
What should I wear during a spray tan?
Most guests go nude, which gives you an even tan with no lines at all. If you would rather wear swimwear or underwear, that is fine too. Appointments are private, so the choice is yours.
Do I have to be nude at Nüd Spa?
No. Nude is welcome and completely normal here, but it is never required at a private appointment. Wear as much or as little as you like. Our only firm rule is no apologizing for your body.
Is Nüd Spa nudist-friendly?
Yes. Nudists and naturists are welcome and feel right at home here. Most guests go nude at private appointments, and our open house events are fully nude and coed. Nüd is a spa, not a nudist resort, so visits are by appointment or event ticket. Read more about our nudist-friendly spa in Phoenix.
I am self-conscious about my body. Will I feel comfortable?
Yes. Nüd is a body-positive spa and every body is welcome: every size, shape, age and gender, with stretch marks, scars, body hair and everything else that comes with being human. We have seen it all and we are not judging any of it.
Do you offer waxing for men?
Yes. We offer male bikini waxing, the Brozilian (a male Brazilian wax), back, shoulder, arm and leg waxing, and a Brozilian shave for guests who prefer not to wax.
How long does my hair need to be for waxing?
About a quarter of an inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. That is usually two to three weeks of growth after shaving. Hair that is shorter may not lift cleanly.
Can I get a wax and a spray tan on the same day?
We recommend waxing at least 24 hours before a spray tan. Freshly waxed skin needs time to settle so the tan develops evenly. A body scrub, on the other hand, is ideal right before a tan.
Which body scrub should I choose?
Himalayan salt is the most thorough exfoliation and is great for rough, dry skin. Sugar is gentler and suits sensitive skin. Arabica coffee is invigorating and leaves skin feeling firm and awake. Not sure? Your technician will help you pick.
What is a vajacial?
A vajacial is a facial for the bikini area. It cleanses, exfoliates and soothes the skin and helps prevent ingrown hairs after waxing or shaving. We offer the same treatment for men, called a penecial.
Can I book the sauna or red light therapy on its own?
Sauna and red light therapy are add-ons, so they are booked alongside another service such as a body scrub or facial. Ask us to add one when you book, or call (602) 633-4540. We do not pair the sauna with a spray tan, because heat and sweat keep a fresh tan from developing evenly.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Nüd Spa gift cards can be purchased online and used toward any service, including spray tans and body scrubs.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give us at least 6 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged a $20 fee.
Where is Nüd Spa located?
We are at 13026 N Cave Creek Rd, Suite 203, Phoenix, AZ 85022, in North Phoenix between Cactus Road and Thunderbird Road. We are open Monday through Saturday by appointment.
